Disclaimer & Client Information

Please read the following information before using our services.

Tao Mindfulness provides independent, complementary and educational services designed to support personal development and wellbeing.

1. Independent Practice

Tao Mindfulness operates as an independent professional practice. Sessions and programmes are facilitated by Diane S OOI (“the Practitioner”).

The Practitioner is responsible for her own professional practice, client communication, services and advice.

2. Scope of Services

Services may include Hypno-Psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, NLP, mindfulness, guided relaxation, visualisation and personal-development techniques, depending on the individual's goals and circumstances.

These services are provided on a non-medical, educational and supportive basis.

3. No Medical or Psychiatric Treatment

Tao Mindfulness services do not constitute medical care, psychiatric assessment, clinical diagnosis or emergency treatment.

They are not intended to replace appropriate medical, psychological or psychiatric care.

No representation is made that the services will diagnose, cure or treat any medical condition, physical illness, severe mental illness or psychiatric disorder.

4. Remote Sessions & Crisis Protocol

Online sessions involve the use of communication technology and may be affected by technical problems, internet connectivity or circumstances outside the Practitioner’s control.

Online sessions are not appropriate for acute psychiatric emergencies or crisis situations.

If you are experiencing a mental-health emergency, are at immediate risk of harm, or require urgent medical or psychiatric assistance, please contact your local emergency service, qualified healthcare professional or nearest emergency department immediately.

5. Confidentiality & Data Privacy

Client information and records are handled confidentially and in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.

Information will not ordinarily be disclosed or shared without appropriate consent, except where disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law.

For online services, clients should also understand that electronic communication and internet-based services carry inherent technology and security risks.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Practitioner provides services on an informational, complementary and supportive basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Practitioner is not responsible for outcomes arising from a client's failure to obtain appropriate medical, psychological or psychiatric care where such care is required.

Individual experiences and outcomes vary, and participation in a programme does not guarantee any particular result.

7. Governing Law

Any legal claim or dispute relating to the Practitioner’s services shall be governed by the applicable laws and courts of the Practitioner's primary business jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory legal rights that may apply.
